2008: QECVI Musical North Side Story debuts

2007: Winners of the K-Rock Food Drive Challenge - awarded Tara Sloan concert.

2007: 58 homes built by the Building Construction Internship Program to date.

2006: New Literacy center dedicated to dedicated trustee, Elaine Crawford.

2006: Baseball team wins KASSAA silver.

2006: Jr. Basketball team wins KASSAA silver.

2005: Collects $2, 200 worth of pennies for Pennies for Tots.

2005: Wins KASSAA Baseball championship.

2005: Raiders rugby team wins EOSSAA.

2005: QECVI celebrates its 50th reunion.

2003: Karen Peperkorn receives an Outstanding Service Award for her work with the creative arts.

2003: Interact club sent 16 people to El Salvador to help with relief efforts.

2001-2002: Sr. Boys Basketball team wins Kassaa Silver.

2002: 35 students invited by the Bronx Task Force to visit New York City.

1996: First February Blues Auction to raise money for field trips and other special events.

1997: Jr. Boys Basketball team wins Kassaa Silver.

1995: Bill Booth wins the district and regional Advanced Essay (Poetry) contest for his poem “ They are Outcasts”.

1994: “Storm”, stay in school seminar.

1994: Whale Watching Club made their first trip to Tadoussac, Que.

1993: QECVI wins the Sears Drama Festival District competition. Production also wins outstanding director and outstanding male actor.

1993: Building Construction Internship Program complete five homes in the Waterloo Village subdivision of Kingston Township.

1992: Enrollment reaches over 1300. Up from 300 two years ago.

1991: QECVI’s off campus adult education center, Second Chance opens.

1991: Four Portable classrooms are completed by Building Construction Internship Program, and are donated to Holsgrove and Bayridge Public Schools.

1990: Focus programs are introduced in order to meet the growing need of the entire school population.

1988: Teacher-Student mentoring program is introduced for all grade nines.

1988: Headstart program designed to ease the transition from grade 8 – 9.

1988: Public board reject the switch of QECVI for Regiopolis Notre Dame (separate board) due to community support to stay.

1987: First annual leadership conference at Camp Iawah.

1987: Winner of Inter-School Challenge for “Stages”.

1986: Success of the co-op program leads to its expansion.

1985- First annual dance-a-thon raised over $3500 for the United Way in 26 hours

1983: Co-op programs begin allowing students the chance to receive hands on
experience in the areas of technical trades and family studies.

 

1955: QECVI opens.
