Selecting a Program of Study

This course information booklet is designed to assist students and their parents in the selection of a program of studies for the next school year. Selection of an appropriate program is a serious responsibility. There is a need to consult with parents, elementary and secondary school teachers and counsellors to ensure that each student’s selection is consistent with his/her achievement, ability and aspirations. Entrance requirements to careers and post-secondary programs vary widely. The responsibility of appropriate course selection rests with the student and their parents/guardian. The Student Services staff is available to assist in making these important decisions.
